is a French Dai Shihan and is Bujinkan India’s technical mentor. He has been training martial arts for more than 40 years and Bujinkan for 26 years; being a Dai Shihan of the Bujinkan ,he gives seminars all over the world and travels to Japan thrice a year to train under Sôke. The name “Shiro Kuma” (polar bear), is a nickname given to him by Sôke back in 1986 He received a Menkyo Kaiden in Tachi Waza.
He has been visiting India thrice a year since 2008 , where he conducts various seminars based on different themes.

a 15th Dan who has been living in Japan since 1994 and trains very often under Soke. His martial art background includes black belts in Karate and Aikido as well as experience in ful contact kickboxing. After introduction to Bujinkan in the late eighties, he has been single heartedly devoted to the study of Bujinkan martial tradition. He currently runs the The Kasumi An Study center which is dedicated to the study and practice of traditional Japanese arts. Primarily focusing on the traditional martial arts as taught by Grandmaster Hatsumi Masaaki of the Bujinkan., the Study center will feature lessons in Junan Taiso (strength and flexibility), Bujinkan martial movement, ink painting and other arts when available.

After several years of training different martial arts , he discovered Bujinkan 1984 and started training under Pertti Ruha in Gothenburg. He currently is a teacher at Seishin Dojo in Gothenburg, Sweden and goes to Japain to train often. He has been a long term board member of Bujinkan Sweden Federation, of which he has also been chairman of for seven years.

Sheila trains regularly in Japan and in addition she teaches Self Defense workshops of all levels for girls, teenagers and adult women with focuses on the psychological aspects of trauma and abuse, broadening awareness, developing intuition and sensitivities for prevention purposes.Sheila is an Executive Board Member of American Women’s Self Defense Association, a member of the National Women’s Martial Art Federation, and Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors. She is also an active member, teacher and past event organizer for the Pacific Association of Women Martial Artists.
Sheila founded the Seido Institute, an organization devoted to the integration of the warrior and healing arts. The Institute offers international workshops, seminars and certifications in martial arts and Seido Bio-Energy Therapy. She has earned a Masters degree in Psychology, and conducts workshops and seminars in martial arts, women’s self defense and Seido Bio-energy throughout the world
Sheila conducted two Self defense seminars for women in Bangalore which were very insightful and a great success.
